Once upon a time, there was a famous, rich and powerful lion known as Garoojigi. This lion had never been beaten in battle before, nor had he been killed. In his youth he was the King of the jungle and had as many as thirty-three beautiful wives who would dutifully sleep with him every night. Unfortunately for Garoojigi, age began to take it's toll on his body and health. There were many days where he could barely walk without great difficulty and even more days where he'd return from a hunt empty handed. At the same time, his young son was rising to prominence and rising fast. Garoojigi was not accepting of his old age and attempted to put on a brave face, but in his heart he was desperate for some sort of miracle that would rejuvenate him and allow him to hunt once again. One day while Garoojigi was having some midday relaxation in some field he crossed paths with a hyena who had been out hunting as well, and it so happened that they both spotted a gazelle frolicking some distance away killing some grass. They both agreed to take this little gazelle and divide it's spoils. When they had come to close, the lion was surprised to find he had somehow turned into a hyena himself, and was now having some lunch with this hyena. As he tried to figure out what was going on he asked his friend why he had turned into his friend. The lion continued asking questions of the hyena who just kept looking at him intently all while munching on his gazelle. Eventually after about ten minutes of the lion's irritated but humorous questioning of his former friend, the hyena spoke up saying that he'd gotten old and sick and no longer felt like hunting, so rather than hunt for himself, he'd rather lend some energy to someone else. The hyena continued explaining to the lion that he'd overheard the lion talking about how stressed out he was lately because no matter how much gazelle he caught, his wife refused to sleep with him. The hyena told the lion that if he helped him catch some more gazelle then all the lions wives would sleep with him again. The hyena counted on what happened was that Garoojigi's wife would want to spend time with husband again, because she'd enjoyed his company back when they first married. Garoojigi thought this strange, but his wife had become so demanding lately that he just figured she was tired of him. So the next day the hyena asked the lion to join him in searching for some gazelle. During their hunt Garoojigi noticed that his hyena friend was constantly getting harassed by other animals, which confused him because up until now he'd always been able to protect himself without much effort. Then one day Garoojigi saw a herd of buffalo bullying his friend's calf, and he sprung into action yelling at the buffalo to back off. The buffalo turned tail and ran away leaving Garoojigi's friend with his calf alone once more. cfa1e77820
